Web Hosting is the server on which your website and email are stored. We have many different levels of plans depending on your needs. Your data is stored here in Australia in our secure datacentre in Melbourne. Our dedicated server is optimised for business grade hosting.

A domain name or URL is your address on the web. It will look something like this: yourbusiness.com.au

Usually our client provide us with the content but we can also offer you our Copy writing service if you prefer – there is an additional fee for this service though.

Yes, we can help you with both of these options – we have our own email marketing system that we integrate into you website along with your social media links.

Firstly, create yourself a brief of your requirements, like:

• How many pages (and don’t forget Privacy, Terms + Disclaimer etc.)
• Is it eCommerce?
• How many Products?
• What Payment Gateway do you want & how many?
• Do you want any add-ons (like a membership site, Booking form, Events etc)
• Will you provide the content or want us to do that?
• Do you need any software integration (like inventory, accounting etc)?
• Do you have a budget (range like: $3-5k, $5-10k etc)?

Start gathering images, get some before/after photos if applicable. Get some content together (or if you sign up with us, we will supply you a Website Brief with a series of questions you can answer to formulate your content around.)

A website typically takes up to 4-6 weeks but can be longer depending on the site requirements, if copy-writing or custom design is required or is a large ecommerce website.

The time it takes for your website to appear on page 1 of Google depends on a number of factors. It depends on the search phrase people are using to find your website and the number of other websites that are also available for those search phrases, and also the region you are trying to target and the competition within that region.

Nobody can truly say how long it will take for your website to appear at the top of search engine results pages (including people who actually work for Google), however there are a number of factors that can improve your chances. Building your website on WordPress is a good start as WordPress has some great Search Engine Optimisation fundamentals built-in. Creating unique and interesting content on a regular basis for your website is also critical to increase your visibility amongst search engines. Launching your website and then forgetting about it is a surefire way to get lost amongst the noise.

Once you site goes live, we backup off-line both your database and full site files. As part of your hosting package with VMA we perform nightly backups on our server – these are stored for 14 days only. We also offer Website Maintenance Agreements to further support you and this will also perform weekly database backups and a monthly site backup – both these are stored offline.

We will install Google analytics software on your new website and show you how to log into your Google analytics account where you can see a wide range of statistics about your website including number of visits, page views than the amount of time people are spending on your website.

Once you subscribe to one of our website marketing plans you will also receive more detailed analysis via our comprehensive dashboard plus receive a monthly report about your website performance and recommendations on how to improve.

Yes – We do offer a number of payment plans but this will depend on your ability to pay and length of time you have been in business. Generally the longer it take to pay then the more you will pay but ask us to summarise these for you as it can often make the difference in getting your lead generating website online now rather than later thus earning you income sooner. Please note that these MUST be automated payments (ie: Credit Card or Direct Debit) and may attract an additional fee – see the section on Payment Plans for more information.

Local SEO is just that – within your local area. ie: your suburb and surrounding suburbs whereas general SEO can cover a much wider area ie: region, state or country.

You will have a better change of ranking for local SEO as the wider you go – the harder it becomes because it depends on the competition within that region, plus the area you are trying to target.
