I am new at VMA, but I’ve been on this career track for four years now.
What does your job entail?
My responsibilities include managing all web project development and ensuring that they are all up-to-date, collaborating with the team of developers, graphic designers, SEO analysts, digital marketers, and so on, keeping the clients informed of the project’s progress, as well as all technical works related to web project management.
What is a typical day like?
On a typical day at work, I start by checking my emails, respond to clients and get everything organised at the start of the day. I then look over my to-do list and get started on the projects that are my top priority. I attend the daily stand-up call with the developers, where I will designate them tasks and address their concerns. Most mornings, I have scheduled meetings with the clients.I begin working on the more methodological aspects of my job after lunch. I examine all of the tasks in progress and in queue for every project. I keep track of everything in the project management tool. I compile it into a report and present it to my team at the end of each week.

What I really enjoy about my job is the opportunity to make connections and communicate with people from all across the globe.

I am originally from the Philippines.
Where did you go to school?
I completed my BS in IT studies in Davao
What do you like to do when you aren't working?
I spend the majority of my free time with my family and friends or on the internet reading blogs.
What is your favourite book or movie?
I am a fan of Aamir Khan, so my favourite movie is Laal Singh Chadha. It’s just amazing how the movie brings home a lesson to every individual: respect each other's differences. There is no room for hate and discrimination in this world, and having disabilities should not be a hindrance to being triumphant in life.
What's a fun fact about you many people may not know?
I am an army reservist. Not many people know that I joined the Reserve Officer Training Corps. It’s for me the best way to help my country in times of insurgency.
